October 12 – Employees from the Sotheby's auction house pose with Banksy's “Love is in the Bin.” The art was created a week earlier when Banksy's "Girl with Balloon" painting, which had just sold for $1.4 million, was damaged by a paper shredder hidden inside the frame.
