March 21 – Emma Gonzalez, a survivor of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, becomes emotional as she speaks during March for Our Lives, a protest in Washington that called for stricter gun-control legislation. She stood on stage for the length of the gunman's shooting spree. "Six minutes and about 20 seconds," she said.
